Contacting JMG Porsche
- By telephone, Post or in person
- By train
- By air or sea
- By Road
We will be happy to hear from you. Existing customers, future customers even if you have not bought your Porsche yet.
Our main telephone number is 01202 488800, however we also have a more memorable number, which is 07000 996 911, feel free to use whichever one you prefer, however the 07000 number is charged at the same rate as a national call.
When calling, although we are happy for you to talk directly to a technician, if they are all tied up working on a car, it may not be possible to talk to them right away, however if you provide reception with your name, number and the nature of your call, a technician will call you back. Even if we are busy, we do reserve some time between 1:30pm and 2pm, and again between 5pm and 5:30 pm for technicians to call customers back.
For technical advice, we request that you email your question to us, which we will usually try to do the same day.
We always welcome visitors to the workshop. Sometimes it is better if you call us to let us know you are coming, but even still we would love to see you even if you are passing by and do not have an appointment.

JMG Porsche, 98 Cobham Road, Ferndown Industrial Estate, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 7RE
Getting to JMG Porsche by train is very easy as we are a short taxi ride from Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole train stations
These stations offer rail links to all UK destinations.
Typically these stations have trains leaving every 20 to 30 minutes which our customers find very convenient. However some customers find it even more convenient to drop off their car one weekend, catch the train home, and come back the following weekend by train again. We are more than happy to store your car a small fee for the week even if the work to be performed is minor, which some people choose to take advantage of while they are on holiday.
Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole train stations are on the "South West Trains" main Weymouth to Waterloo line, stopping at Weymouth, Upwey, Dorchester, Moreton, Wool, Wareham, Holton Heath, Hamworthy, Poole, Branksome/parkstone, Bournemouth, Pokesdown, Christchurch, New Milton, Brockenhurst, Southampton Central, Southampton Airport, Eastleigh, Winchester, Basingstoke, Fleet, Farnborough, Clapham Junction ending at London Waterloo. Which covers the counties of Dorset, Hampshire and Surrey.
By Clicking on the map to the right, you can view a larger map showing the destinations in the immediate area served by South West Trains, or by clicking HERE you can visit the South West Trains website for prices, schedules and to book tickets online.
By changing trains at Eastleigh, a visitor by train can continue to Hedge End, Botley, Fareham, Portchester, Cosham, Hilsea, Fratton, Portsmouth and Southsea
By changing trains at Basingstoke, a visitor by train can continue to Andover, Salisbury, Tisbury, Gillingham, Templecombe, Sherborne, Yeovil, Crewkerne, Axminster, Honiton, Pinhoe and Exeter.
By Changing trains at Clapham Junction, a visitor by train can also continue to Wandsworth, Putney, Barnes, Chiswick, Staines, Windsor, Ascot, Bracknell, Wokingham, Reading,
Obviously along these routes you can also switch to other networks, to any train destination in the UK. However some customers choose to benefit from the attractions and climate around the Bournemouth and Christchurch areas to turn their Porsche specialist visit into a mini holiday. With such local attractions why not visit our local attractions pages for recommended things you can do while your car is receiving care and attention at JMG Porsche.
Visiting JMG Porsche by plane is easier than you might imagine, with local airports of Bournemouth airport aproximately 10 minutes away, Southampton airport about 35 minutes away, some customers choose to visit us by air, either by scheduled flights from airlines serving those airports, or by their own aircraft.
For those using their own private fixed wing or helicopters, Bournemouth airport is probably the most convenient area for access to JMG from the air. For landing fees we recommend contacting Bournemouth International Airport direct, or Bournemouth flying club.
Bournemouth international airport now also has a new terminal and new routes are constantly being added, with several airlines now supporting flights throughout the world. Some customers are now planning their maintenance around their holidays and using Bournemouth or Southampton airports as their departure point, allowing their car to be dropped off with us for the duration of their holiday, as long as your car is having some work carried out on it, storage during your holiday will be free of charge and often your car will even be washed prior to your collection.
Having dealt with celebrities and even royalty in the past, JMG Porsche can also assure its visitors of complete secrecy and discression of your visit and any work performed on your Porsche. For such visitors JMG Porsche can also help arrange collection of you by normal car, limo or even assist in arranging security personnel.
Situation between the sea ports of Poole and Bournemouth, JMG Porsche is served by direct ferry links to France, the channel islands and the rest of Europe. In addition the nearby sea port of Lymington provides ferry access to the Isle of Wight.
For access by pleasure boat, we are only 15 minutes from Mudeford Quay and Christchurch River, 20 minutes from Poole Harbour, Cobbs Quay, Sandbanks, or 30 minutes from the numerous quays and habours of Southampton. All of these locations have facilities for visiting pleasure craft, for more details of visitor moorings please contact the local yaught and sailing clubs, or the local water authorities.
For customers using Poole, Southampton and Lymington regular train links will bring you to within 100 meters of our premises at Christchurch, for Mudeford and Christchurch moorings local taxis offer a quick and efficient service to our workshops, just tell them that you need to be at JMG Porsche, next to the train station. Alternatively, when possible we may even be able to collect you.
Getting to JMG Porsche by road can not be easier due to our garage location on on the main road through Ferndown Industrial Estate. As easy as navigating towards Ferndown, following the signs for the industrial estate, where we are at the north end of the main road (Cobham Road).
